Change to Arbor as our MIS system

We are excited to announce that we have changed our MIS system from SIMs to Arbor over the last few weeks. This migration has now reached a stage where we feel we can release access to the system to you.
Adopting Arbor will allow us to communicate with you more efficiently and bring all core school data and workflows into one system.

Below is a link to a letter with regards to this change

The Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

Following the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, her funeral, which will be held on Monday 19 September 2022, has been declared as a bank holiday.

This will mean that Weavers Academy will be closed to students and staff on this day. This will allow our community to join the nation and millions around the world in honouring the passing of an incredible individual who at such a young age took on such great responsibility. Throughout her reign and for so many years, she exemplified so many of the values we hold dear and demonstrated qualities that we should all aspire to.

Our thoughts remain with all her family and those who were close to her at this difficult time.
Students are to return to school on Tuesday 20 September 2022 as normal.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

We join the nation in mourning Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her years of service and duty to the country are an example to us all and her loss will be greatly felt.

National guidance is that schools will remain open during a period of mourning. This period of national mourning will continue until the end of the State Funeral. When schools are issued guidance regarding any arrangements for the day of the State Funeral, these will be shared with parents and carers.

In the meantime, we will ensure there is appropriate opportunity for students to discuss and ask questions about the Queen’s life and reign.  We will also make available support for any student for whom this significant national event causes sadness.
