Students and staff at Weavers Academy in Wellingborough are celebrating some outstanding individual A-Level and vocational successes today.
The proportion of students achieving the highest grades at A-Level has increased significantly this year.
Natasha Fyffe achieved A, A*, A, A, B; Esha Kumari A*, A, A, A* and both Ben Nicholson and Joseph Murphy secured A, B, B, B grades. A number of students achieved D* (distinction) in vocational qualifications including Cory Bollen and Beth Carty-Gable who both achieved D* D (distinction) in Media.
Many students have secured places at top Russell Group Universities to study a variety of courses including history, computer science, media production, neuroscience, accounting, and electronic engineering.
We are delighted that the students have performed so well and can now pursue their chosen courses and career paths to their futures. The results are testament to the hard work, dedication and belief shown by students and staff across the past two years of their studies.
