The canteen at Weavers Academy is open to students three times a day, we offer a breakfast service, break time service as well as lunch. Our breakfast menu consists of –
Bacon or egg rolls
Fruit & juices etc.
The canteen menus are currently being nutritionally analysed to ensure that they meet government standards. We have also just obtained the Northamptonshire County Council Heartbeat Award for healthy eating, which I have held for the past 6 years in previous establishments. We also have 4 Scores on Doors stars, awarded to us by the local Environmental Health Officer. When I started as Catering Manager 2 years ago the school only held 1 star, so to now have 4 is a great achievement for all of us here in the catering department.
Please use the Canteen Menu to the right to view the full school menus.
Cashless Catering System
We are pleased to announce that Weavers Academy is installing a cashless catering system in November 2015.
The system incorporates the latest technology and eliminates the need to carry cash throughout the day. It is biometric so the system will recognise the thumb print of your child at the tills.
It is important to note that the system does not work from the thumb print itself, but takes a numeric record.
Please find the form for the biometrics opt in below. This needs to be completed and returned to school if you wish your child to use the canteen.
We will start operating the system on Monday 16 November. From this day no cash will be accepted at the till points.
The payment methods available to you are through parent pay, or at Pay points.
The link to the parent pay website is www.parentpay.com where you can pay money towards lunches or trips, see what your child has had for lunch or set limits of spend.
If you have not yet received an activation code for a Parent pay account, or have any other queries regarding the system please contact the school or email email@example.com

This is because the academy receives pupil premium funding for pupils entitled to a FSM.
If you think you may be eligible to apply, you can get more information and apply online at www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals.
If you have any questions or your circumstances have changed you can contact the local FSM team by:-
