School support for students eligible for Free School Meals

The national free school meal voucher scheme will go live from the 18th January 2021. Vouchers will be available to families from the 22nd January 2021. Please check for your ecode in your email.

We need a live email address for you to be able to place orders for supermarket gift cards on behalf of families whose children are eligible for free school meals, to cover the period between 18 January and 12 February (4 weeks).

Gift cards are worth £15 a week per eligible child. Families will receive an eCode by email to redeem from a supermarket of their choice.

Given the high demand expected for vouchers, Weavers Academy will continue provide food boxes to families of students eligible for free school meals. Each food box will be stocked with items to support students’ lunches over a one-week period. A typical box for one week is shown in the photograph.

Food boxes will be available to families for collection from the school’s main reception from Monday 18th January 2021 between 8.30am and 2.30pm each day. Please return empty boxes if possible.
