Holiday Food Vouchers

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is funding Holiday Food vouchers via funds from the UK Government as part of the Household Support Fund (HSF). As a Council we will be distributing the FSM Holiday vouchers as a ‘one-off’ payment covering Christmas, February Half Term and Easter. The overall amount each student will receive will be £90 to cover all three holidays.
In surplus to this, we will also be offering the ‘Back to School essentials’ payment at a value of £15 per student. This in total, will equate to an overall payment of £105 per student.
This payment will be for all students eligible for benefits related to Free School Meals (FSM).
Our Household Support Fund team will begin issuing the vouchers on Monday 1st December 2025.
NNC is working again with the online voucher platform, Huggg.me, and will use the same method to distribute the vouchers as before.
We would be grateful if you could please forward the vouchers to parents, carers, or guardians (as appropriate).
Please note the following:
- Each voucher code has been specifically linked to a named student. It must not be given to anyone else.
- If the named student no longer attends your school or college, please return the code to us so we can cancel it.
- If a student is not on the list - please do not give them a code which has been allocated to another student
- All vouchers must be redeemed on or before their expiry date of 31.1.2026

- A voucher will be raised and issued as soon as we are able. Please do not chase via email repeatedly as we are a small team, and this delays enquiries.
- Unfortunately, vouchers which expire unredeemed cannot be replaced
