Work with us

From 1 November 2026, Weavers Academy vacancies will be advertised through MyNewTerm and listed below.

As we transition to our new platform, some vacancies may remain on our previous recruitment system and may not yet appear here. You can view these opportunities via our Recruitment portal.

Weavers Academy is an inclusive secondary school and sixth form serving students aged 11 to 18 in Wellingborough. We are large enough to offer a broad range of opportunities through our ambitious and innovative curriculum, while remaining small enough to ensure that every student is known, valued and cared for.

Teaching and learning are at the centre of our work because we know that excellent classroom practice has the greatest influence on our students’ success. Our staff care deeply about each young person and devote time to understanding their individual strengths, needs and aspirations. Through high expectations, expert teaching and personalised support, we help every student make progress and fulfil their potential.

We are proud of the kind and caring attitudes our students show towards one another. Positive relationships create a safe and purposeful environment in which it is ‘cool’ to learn, students feel confident to participate and everyone is encouraged to succeed. We also value the views of students and families, using their feedback to help shape and strengthen the academy.

For colleagues, Weavers offers a rewarding environment in which excellent teaching is valued and professional growth is encouraged. Staff work collaboratively, share their expertise and support one another to continually improve the quality of education we provide. Whether you are beginning your career or bringing considerable experience, you will join a committed team united by its ambition for students.

As part of Creative Education Trust, our staff benefit from the opportunities of a national family of schools while remaining rooted in the communities they serve. We are committed to creating exceptional places to work, where colleagues are supported to grow, collaborate and make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people. Through Trust-wide professional development, leadership programmes and career pathways, staff can develop their expertise and progress their careers at every stage. Colleagues also have access to a comprehensive benefits package that supports wellbeing, financial security and work-life balance.

If you are looking for a school where you can develop professionally, contribute to a caring and ambitious community and help every student succeed, I hope you will consider joining us.
